PHYS 2701: Foundations of Modern Astrophysics

A fully interactive course introducing astrophysics, designed for physics majors, and the first course in the Astrophysics minor sequence.¬†Taught Fall 2017, Fall 2018, and Fall 2019, receiving the Provost’s Letter of Recognition for Teaching Excellence (SET scores of 5.0 for instructor and 5.0 for course) each time taught.

PHYS 1025Q: Introduction to Astronomy

A large interactive course for non-majors interested in learning more about the Universe and our place within it. Taught Spring 2019 (received Provost’s Letter of Recognition for Teaching Excellence) and co-taught Spring 2020 with H Perry Hatchfield.
